THQ as publisher of Red Faction was not planning to make skuel of this game. This is all because the proceeds from the sale of this game is very disappointing. Their sales in Q1 is the worst of the previous series.
Farrell also said that the last two series of the Red Faction games do not get a huge market and therefore they intend to terminate the franchise series. Instead now they're looking for titles that can make the hits and have high sales.
For now they are more optimistic in thinking about the game that they will be released this year. This game is The Saint Thirt Row, WWE 12 and Warhammer 40,000.
